Standard Driver:
A. Full-time over the road drivers
To be a full-time over the road driver you must achieve at least 30,000 miles per quarter and achieve a minimum of 5.5 mpg.
- 0-2 yrs $.32CPM
- 3-4 yrs $.33CPM
- 5-6 yrs $.34CPM
- 7-9 yrs $.35CPM
- 10-14 yrs $.36CPM
- 15-19 yrs $.37CPM
- 20+ yrs $.38CPM
.10 CPM of wage is per diem non-taxable (example: .32 CPM = .22 taxable and .10 CPM non tax)
B. Part-time over the road drivers
A part-time driver is one that does not achieve 30,000 paid miles per quarter.
- 0-2 yrs $.32CPM
- 3-4 yrs $.33CPM
- 5-6 yrs $.34CPM
- 7-9 yrs $.35CPM
- 10-14 yrs $.36CPM
- 15-19 yrs $.37CPM
- 20+ yrs $.38CPM

C. Local Driver
Local drivers are those who do “day runs” which mean that you are out and back within a twenty-four hour time frame.
Local pay matrix scale:
- 0-30 Miles $.92/loaded mile
- 31-50 Miles $.82/loaded mile
- 51-200 Miles $.52/loaded mile
- 201 Miles and over $.32/loaded mile
Pay and Incentives
Mileage Bonus:
Full-time Driver maintaining above 5.5 MPG on a rolling quarterly average. Paid on first check of the month for previous month miles
*11,000 miles $.01/mile
*12,000 miles $.02/mile
*13,000 miles $.03/mile
Fuel Bonus:
Full-time driver, will be determined and paid off of rolling quarterly average. Paid on second check of the month for pervious month.
*6.0 MPG $.02/mile
*6.5 MPG $.04/mile
*7.0 MPG $.06/mile
*7.5 MPG $.08/mile
*8.0 MPG $.10/mile
Recruitment:
$1000 Standard/ $2000 Master Driver Recruitment Payouts: These will be paid out after new recruit has been employed for 6 months and a determination has been made on if the new recruit qualified for the Master Driver Program.

Master Driver:
Requirements:
- You must be a Full-time Freight Driver
- Achieve an 11,000 miles/month average minimum
- Maintain a minimum of 6.5-mpg monthly average
- Have no major chargeable accidents (nothing over $1000)
- You have not obtained any major company violations
Program Period:
The Master Program will run on a 12 month basis. It will run concurrent with the Safety Bonus from October 1- September 30th.

Student Driver
Norsemen has up to a $3000 tuition reimbursement for recent graduates that have graduated from a qualified program, meet minimum requirements, pass the Norsemen Training Program, and are employed with Norsemen for a minimum of a year.
